Benitez upset with his own team
Former Valencia, Liverpool and Real Madrid manager, Rafa Benitez was so upset with the way his team’s game was going that he chose to stop watching even while he was on the touchline.

60-year old Benitez who is known across Europe for his winning exploits in Spain, England and Italy is currently the coach of Chinese Super League side, Dalian Pro where he has been since July, 2019. Since the new season began in July this year, his team has failed to register a win in the three games played so far but it was his team’s latest performance that made him blow a fuse.
During the game, Benitez decided to turn his back on his players who were still on the pitch and preferred to just look around the stadium instead. When he was questioned by reporters about why he turned his back on his players during the game, his response was “I didn’t like the game, that’s why”. He was also asked why his team has been throwing away points in the dying minutes of games this season to which he replied “I didn’t like the game”, then he got up and walked out.
The Spaniard has been linked with a return to the Premier League since he arrived in China was visibly frustrated as the post-match press conference barely lasted up to three minutes. In 2019, when he arrived in China, he famously said that he doesn’t have to win titles in the country, he only has to leave a legacy.
