German reports say that Moukoko, who was adopted and sent to reside there in 2014 after being adopted in Yaounde, Cameroon, is actually 22 years old, not 18 as previously thought.
Among the clubs with an interest in the striker are Newcastle United and Chelsea, but Premier League sides are reportedly prepared to end talks as a result of advances in the probe into age-related doping in sports.
According to recent claims made in Germany, Dortmund striker Moukoko’s birth certificate from 2000 bearing the name Yousouffa Mohamadou was found in 2022. According to the Austrian news outlet Laola1, Moukoko’s adoptive father allegedly sent the purportedly rediscovered birth certificate to a reporter.
Moukoko’s adoption emerged in 2022, but an apparent investigation into age fraud has cast doubt on Moukoko’s claim to be 18 years old. It is asserted that additional skepticism arose as a result of Moukoko supposedly dating people who were much older than him while he was a young adolescent.
The German FA responded to Sportsmail’s inquiry on Thursday by saying, “We do not comment on any conjecture.” The player’s birthdate, November 20, 2004, is listed on his documents, which the German FA vehemently defended in 2017.
When the DFB requests that the facts be carefully considered, those in charge at Borussia Dortmund invariably cite the validity of the papers and paperwork, which the DFB is well aware of.

Meanwhile…
Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier has reportedly taken it upon himself to act as both his own agent as reported by Patrick Berger for Sport1.
Meunier was originally represented by Jacques Lichtenstein, his longtime agent. However, Lichtenstein has made the decision to leave the industry after recently making a full recovery from a protracted illness.
This prompted the BVB player to vow that moving forward, he will speak for himself during contract negotiations, potential transfers, and other situations.
