Even if it’s all falling apart at Real Madrid which has all but signified a possible end to his departure despite still having a year left on his contract, Carlo Ancelotti is a man that’s very well appreciated by the Brazil NT Football Association and are ready to make an official move for their prime managerial target who seems destined to leave at the end of the season.

More Details

Following Real Madrid’s agonizing Copa del Rey final loss to Barcelona on Saturday, Brazil is reportedly intensifying its efforts to secure Carlo Ancelotti as their next national team coach. Despite Real Madrid’s ongoing battle with Barcelona for the La Liga title, Ancelotti is widely anticipated to depart the Bernabeu in the near future although it is expected that he would make that decision after the meeting with President Florentino Perez, prompting the Brazilian FA to aggressively pursue his appointment.

Diego Fernandes, acting as an intermediary for the Brazilian FA was observed at the Seville final where he is believed to have engaged in discussions with Ancelotti. These talks center around Ancelotti potentially succeeding Dorival Junior who was dismissed after Brazil’s heavy 4-1 defeat to Argentina in a World Cup qualifying match last month.

Florentino Perez is poised to hold crucial discussions with Carlo Ancelotti to determine the specifics of his departure from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. While the La Liga title race against Barcelona remains tight, Ancelotti is anticipated to see out the rest of the domestic campaign.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Ancelotti. Alonso reportedly has a clause in his Bayer Leverkusen contract that would allow him to leave the Bundesliga club for one of his former teams.

According to earlier reporting from David Ornstein of The Athletic, Carlo Ancelotti is expected to depart Real Madrid to take on the vacant Brazil national team coaching position. The Brazilian national team has reportedly been pursuing Ancelotti for more than a year, and numerous other sources suggest that an agreement is essentially in place, with Brazil expressing strong confidence in securing his services as discussions continue in Madrid.

The Brazilian FA representative, Fernandes, is reportedly approaching negotiations with tact and diplomacy, aiming to secure an early release for Ancelotti that would be viewed as a gesture of respect between the coach and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, rather than stemming from any deterioration in their professional relationship.
