News broke last week that pop star Shakira and footballer Pique are putting an end to their eleven year relationship owing to infidelity on the part of the Barcelona defender.
Miss Bumbum as the model is fondly called has now put a further blow on Pique’s personality and she claimed he and other Barcelona stars constantly sent dirty messages to her with exceptions being Lionel Messi and Philippe Coutinho both of whom she hailed as good husbands.
“He was the one who sent me the most direct message. The only Barcelona players who never sent me anything were Messi and Coutinho. They are great husbands and they respect their wives very much. Shakira didn’t deserve this,” Cortez was quoted as saying by NY Newspaper via Marca in Spain.
She also went on to reveal that Pique got in touch with her through former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell who is a friend of the model.
“I was friends with the former president of Barcelona, Sandro Rosell. When Pique found out, he asked for my number, at the time, and sent me a message,” she added.
Shakira and Pique released a joint statement confirming their separation and asking that fans respect their privacy.

Gareth Southgate has told Harry Kane he may have to wait in his pursuit of Wayne Rooney’s goals record for the Three Lions.
Harry Kane has appeared in both of England’s match so far and is willing to play in the next two against Italy and Hungary.

Southgate has however told the England captain he needs to rest while he sees what Roma striker Tammy Abraham can bring to the team.
“What I would say is that we’ve clearly got to look after the welfare of the players.
“That’s part of what we were doing on Saturday in Hungary, with a view to having the freshness we were going to need in Germany to compete.
“But Harry is also a phenomenal professional the way he looks after himself. I’m not saying he’s going to get his desire to start all four games by the way because there’s also Tammy that we want to see perform as well. But he would get himself there, that’s for sure.”
Kane is just three goals adrift of equalling Rooney’s record of 53 goals for England and he’ll be bent on reaching that before the World Cup in November to take pressure off himself.
