BREAKING: Fulham are back in the Premier League
Fulham have gained promotion to the Premier League after a 2-1 playoff final victory over Brentford tonight.

The London club joins Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion, two teams that had secured automatic promotion through the league standings just under two weeks ago.
Nothing could separate Brentford and Fulham in ninety minutes and it took an audacious effort from Fulham left back, Joe Bryan to break the deadlock just before the midway point of extra time. Brentford pulled one back in extra time additional time through right back, Henrik Dalsgaard but it proved only to be a consolation goal as Fulham walked away with the victory and ultimately, the third Premier League promotion spot.
The English Championship playoff final is often dubbed the most valuable one-off game in the world with the winners expected to earn hundreds of millions in revenue over time. Both sides looked up for it and gave it their all but it was Fulham at came up with the goods and were deserved winners.
