BREAKING: Liverpool to sign Thiago Alcantara
Sources in Italy, England and Germany report that Liverpool and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of Thiago Alcantara.

Liverpool had been interested in the Spanish midfielder since the start of the summer transfer window but were not prepared to match Bayern’s 30 million euros asking price because the player has a year left on his current contract.
Bayern on the other hand had accepted that Thiago would be leaving the club this summer after the midfielder informed the club that he would not be extending his contract as he would prefer to experience a different adventure.
The Germans had set a 30 million price for the 29-year old and were open to selling him to any club that could meet their demand. Manchester United and Juventus were the other clubs rumored to be interested in the player but no official talks were held.
The Athletic, Sky Italia and BILD now report that Liverpool have contacted the German club to pay the demanded 30 million euros as Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp continues to insist that the player is signed. The player and the Merseyside club are reportedly sorting out the final details for his personal terms and an official announcement should come after.
Thiagi AAlcantara joined Bayern Munich from Barcelona in 2013, helping the club to multiple honours including the treble in the 2019/20 season.
