Tottenham winger Bryan Gil is set to join Spanish giants Valencia on loan this summer, according to multiple reports from Fabrizio Romano.

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Valencia of La Liga is planning to recruit Tottenham Hotspur forward Bryan Gil.

The young Spaniard spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at the Mestalla after failing to establish himself in north London. Gil seems to have had an effect at Valencia because Los Che have decided to keep him on for the 2022–2023 season.

Gil is predominantly a left winger, but he can also contribute in center midfield and on the other flank. The 21-year-old is already a full international for Spain. He is a smooth player with good control and an eye for a pass.

Tottenham are willing to let the attacker go, despite initially appearing to oppose a transfer, but only on a loan basis. Gil will spend the current season at the Mestalla and is most likely to make a summer 2023 trip back to North London.

Los Che has no choice but to keep the agreement in place, and for the time being, it seems like everyone is winning.

Villarreal had pursued the Uruguayan striker as part of persistent speculation about a return to Spain, but they were unable to come to an arrangement with the 35-year-old.

Local rivals Valencia have reportedly become the favorites to sign Cavani before the end of August, according to reports from Marca.
