Ceballos set for Arsenal return
Dani Ceballos is reportedly closing in on another loan move to Arsenal according to reports from Spain.
According to Jose Luis Sanchez of La Sexta TV, Real Madrid and Arsenal are close to finalizing terms for another loan move for the Spanish midfielder.
Ceballos spent the 2019/20 season on loan at the London based club and has never hidden his desire to continue at the club. It is reported that Mikel Arteta has personally called the 24-year old Spain international to convince him about a return to the club amidst reports that several Spanish clubs were on his trail, including Ceballos’ former club, Real Betis.
Ceballos has reportedly turned down three offers however as he favours a loan move to Arsenal over a move elsewhere since it appears that he will not be in Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid plans for the 2020/21 season.
Ceballos could become Real Madrid’s third outgoing transfer after the the sale of Achraf Hakimi to Inter Milan was confirmed and multiple reports that James Rodriguez could be joining Everton soon.
