But Chelsea’s only result following the international break was a draw with Crystal Palace, and on Saturday night, they defeated Bournemouth 1-0.
As a result, three points behind second-place Arsenal in the rankings after four games, Enzo Maresca’s team is in eighth place.
On Saturday, Chelsea have an early fixture against West Ham. A two-goal victory at the London Stadium would put them ahead of the other nine games that take place throughout the weekend.
Sky Sports News reports that Maresca will have a difficult time making a roster for the match in the nation’s capital. As the team arrived back at Cobham on Monday morning, up to four players were reportedly prepared to begin training.

Among those four was Enzo Fernandez, the international player for Argentina, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who was ruled out over the weekend due to sickness.
Due to a thigh ailment, Romeo Lavia has been out of action since August 25. Malo Gusto also experienced a similar problem right before the international break.
Still, the other two players were able to participate in some training, but they might still lag behind Fernandez and Dewsbury-Hall in terms of being considered for the Hammers match.
