Over his time in Naples, the 24-year-old has made a name for himself as one of the biggest names in football. In just 111 games since 2020, Osimhen has scored 65 goals and provided 15 assists, helping Napoli end a three-decade wait for another Serie A championship.

With just over 19 months left on his contract, the Nigerian international has reached a point in his career and contract where decisions about his next move must be made.

Additionally, the club’s social media team’s two nasty Tiktok posts on Osimhen earlier in the campaign caused a well-documented backlash. Osimhen is expected to stay at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for the remainder of 2023–24, with Napoli expecting that he can at least maintain the team’s position in the top four.

However, president Aurelio De Laurentiis would start to take bids for Osimhen’s signing if he reaches the summer with only a year remaining on his deal.

Osimhen would love to join for Chelsea, according to journalist Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard. The forward has also been linked to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur, although at a time when the latter team might not be able to afford the player.

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
