Chelsea FC Women move within two points of league leaders Arsenal as the Blues cruised to a 3-0 victory away at Everton in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) on Wednesday evening.

More Details

Chelsea FC Women’s coach, Hayes made four changes to the team who beat Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, with Sophie Ingle, Jessie Fleming, Cuthbert, and Pernille Harder returning to the starting 11.

First-half goals from Sam Kerr, Guro Reiten, and Erin Cuthbert ensured Emma Hayes’ side gained a vital three points as the race for the WSL title continues late into the season.

The win means Chelsea are now two points off top position with a game in hand over the Gunners who currently sit at the summit of the WSL.

The Blues are now unbeaten in seven WSL games and have six league games left to play in the league this season.
