Erling Haaland was withdrawn at halftime against his former employers with news of a supposed injury which was later cleared by Guardiola as being as a result of the fever he had before the game.

Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty in the 58th minute that could have put City ahead, it was his third miss in five attempts from the spot this season.

The Citizens now have eleven points from five games with a goals difference of plus ten which is enough to send them to the next stage as group winners.
