Chelsea’s Comeback Nears Completion

Chelsea has already overtaken Arsenal on points in the Women’s Super League (WSL), and on Sunday they also advanced past the Gunners in the FA Cup semifinals.

Guro Reitan and Ji So-Yun each scored for Chelsea, while Arsenal did not register a shot on goal in the match.
Though both teams loom large over the WSL title race, this was the last on-field meeting between the two squads in the 2021-22 competitive year.

Chelsea and Arsenal each have games to make up against Tottenham Hotspur before the end of the WSL season.
Chelsea, in fact, has two: They will play Tottenham on April 24 and again on April 28, before finishing the season against Birmingham City and Manchester United.
