Chelsea’s €100m Lukaku’s Bid Turned Down

Story by Jacobs Dunga
European Champions Chelsea has had a bid of €100m plus Marcos Alonso for Romelu Lukaku turned back by Inter Milan as they see the Belgian striker untouchable.
Chelsea held futile talks for Erling Haaland and now a bid for Romelu Lukaku has been rejected leaving Chelsea in the search for a new striker. Chelsea first brought Lukaku to England in 2011 from his native Belgium but the 28-year-old couldn’t break into that Blues team subsequently going on loan moves to West Brom and Everton where he was later signed permanently for £28m.
The Serie A Most Valuable Player (MVP) has stated that he wants to remain in Milan with Inter unwilling to let go of their star man.
The Antwerp-born striker scored a total of 24 league goals last season which is why several European clubs are keeping tabs on him.
