Arsenal forward Chloe Kelly has expressed her delight after the Gunners were crowned Women’s Club of the Year at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

The England international described the award as a proud moment for both the club and the players, hailing it as a reflection of Arsenal’s growth and ambition in women’s football.
“We want to achieve great things at the club, so it was a great moment for Arsenal as a club and as individuals. A night to celebrate an incredible evening,” Kelly said.
Kelly, who joined Arsenal ahead of last season, credited the club for reigniting her passion for the game.

“I’m very grateful to Arsenal for bringing me here. It put a smile on my face and was a step in the right direction for me. My win last season was finding happiness once again on the field. To win the Champions League and Euros were bonuses and incredible. I was very proud to celebrate on Monday night.”
The former Manchester City player finished fifth overall on the Women’s Ballon d’Or ranking.

Arsenal’s recognition at the prestigious awards comes after a memorable year in which they lifted the UEFA Women’s Champions League and continued to cement their status as one of Europe’s elite clubs.
The club is the only English side to have won the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
