Conceicao Moves Against Swap Deal Involving Saudi Internationals

The Portuguese manager has pulled the plug on the proposed swap deal between his club and the table toppers.

Despite recent defensive struggles, Sergio Conceicao insists he is content with the defenders at his disposal.



The Al Ittihad manager hasn’t found it easy since assuming the role of manager at the reigning champions.

His period has been marred by ups n downs, ranging from inconsistent results to injuries and players wanting out.

To subdue the effect of injuries on the team, a swap deal involving Ali Al Bulaihi of Al Hilal and Abdulrahman Al Obood was proposed.

However, the manager strongly refused, citing belief in his team’s current players and seeing no need for the swap.

According to Abdullah Al Hanian, a swap deal until the end of the season between the two Saudi Arabian players has been stopped by Conceicao.

Al Bulaihi has been on the fringes at Al Hilal since the arrival of Simone Inzaghi and has been open to a transfer since losing his place in the team.
