Cristiane Returns To Brazil Squad As Arthur Elias Name Team For Canada Clash
Written by Oluwaseun Oyediji
Coach Arthur Elias on Monday announced the list with the names of the 24 players who will be part of the team that will defend Brazil in two friendlies against Olympic champions, Canada.
More Details
The Brazilian Warriors will face the Canadians on the 28th and 31st of October 2023
“We managed to make the most of these days at the farm. We have two matches against Canada, a strong team, Olympic champion, which will certainly make the team tested at all times, in all phases of the game,” Elias said on the Brazil Football Federation (CBF) website after unveiling the list of players.
“The idea is to be able, in these two games, to give a minute to most of them. To be with the team in this new environment.
"I expect a Brazil with more possession of the ball, but effective possession and creating chances, scoring goals. Now it's time to test them in an international game", added coach Arthur Elias.
