This means Manchester City have qualified for the last-16 of the tournament with one game remaining. They currently have six points, placing them at the top of their group alongside Juventus.
The first-place spot will be determined when City plays Juventus on Thursday at 8 PM. To secure the top position, City must win this match. If the game ends in a draw, both teams would have seven points and an equal goal difference.
However, Juventus would advance as group winners because they have scored one more goal than City. This is because, in this specific scenario, a draw would make their head-to-head record tied, pushing the tie-breaker to goal difference and then goals scored.
Juventus are currently leading their group with an impressive +8 goal difference, having decisively beaten Wydad 4-1 and secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Al Ain. Manchester City also boasts a +8 goal difference after defeating Wydad 2-0. However, Juventus has a slight edge in goals scored, with nine compared to City’s eight.

Potential Knockout Stage Opponents
If City wins their group, they will face the second-place team from Group H.
If City finishes second in their group, they will go head-to-head with the winner of Group H.
Group H is shaping up to be a tight contest, with Real Madrid currently in the lead with four points from two games. Salzburg is also on four points after a goalless draw with Al Hilal.
Al Hilal, with two points, still has a chance to qualify as they face Pachuca in their final group game. Pachuca is currently at the bottom of the group with no points and has been eliminated. This means City could potentially face a strong opponent like Real Madrid in the next round.
