He asked for patience from the fans as his side squares up against the African champions.

“The fans put a lot of pressure.. Al-Ahly of Egypt is a classic and strong team.. I like to play deep, but things are fine on the sides.”

Romarinho will be relied upon alongside Benzema and Igor Coronado to provide the goals when Al Ittihad take to the pitch against Al Ahly.
