Details Of Jude Bellingham’s Derby Bust-up With Former Chelsea Captain Emerge With Real Madrid Reportedly Keeping Tab On Marc Cucurella

Suffering his first Spanish derby loss, details of Jude Bellingham’s bust-up where he accused Chelsea legend Cesar Azpilicueta in their heated exchange in the Madrid derby as emerged after both players came head-to-head during the Madrid derby on Sunday night following the England international heavy challenge on Angel Correa.

The two players who both featured in the historic derby where hosts Atletico triumphed 3-1 in the league affair thanks to Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann to end Real Madrid unbeaten start, Jude Bellingham and Cesar Azpilicueta had a fiery face-to-face encounter during Sunday’s Madrid derby.

As expected in a derby, there was a brief incident in the final moments of the match where tensions boiled over and the two sets of players clashed and now details have emerged of the bust-up.

The bust-up was initially sparked by a late challenge from Bellingham which many deemed as a red-card offense on Atletico forward Angel Correa in added time before Azpilicueta went over to confront the England star prompting the Chelsea legend to shout ‘Fair play!’ following Bellingham’s tackle according to Spanish outlet MARCA.

“Fair play? Come on man, you’ve thrown the ball four times on the field to waste time”, the ex-Birmingham City star replied.

In the end, Bellingham only received a yellow card for the challenge however Atletico boss Diego Simeone thinks the midfielder was lucky to escape a red.

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Marc Cucurella whose time at Chelsea could come to an end in January, with reports suggesting the Spaniard is keen on an exit from Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window.

The 25-year-old has not played a single game of the new Premier League season with reports suggesting Manchester United had been close to signing him this summer as cover for injured Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia and his only appearance for the club this season came during their 2-1 EFL Cup win against AFC Wimbledon.
