Diego Godin could join Cagliari
Diego Godin is out of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season if reports coming out of Italy are to be believed.

The 34-year old centre back arrived at Inter on a free transfer last summer after nine years at Spanish La Liga side, Atletico Madrid. Having started last season fairly well, his performances faded off as the season went on. Although he picked up form again towards the end of the season, it would seem that he has not done enough to convince Inter coach, Antonio Conte.
Multiple outlets in Italy, including Sky Italia and Corriere Dello Sport report that Inter are currently in negotiations with Cagliari for the transfer of the veteran defender.
While some reports say that Inter would be willing to let the player leave as a free agent, others suggest that Inter could receive a token from his transfer. One thing is certain though, and it is that both clubs are yet to reach an agreement.
French Ligue 1 side, Rennes are also interested in the Uruguayan defender but a move to Cagliari seems more likely at the moment.
