The six candidates are for the Lega Serie A Player of The Month award for September are: Bremer (Juventus), Castro (Bologna), Cutrone (Como), Dimarco (Inter), Kvaratskhelia (Napoli), Pulisic (Milan). Juventus, Inter, Milan and Napoli all have one player each on the list.

Also, Como’s Patrick Cutrone and Bologna’s Santiago Castro got a place among the candidates due to their recent performances, which saw them score three Serie A goal each last month. “The six players has been selected taking into account the advanced analysis of Stats Perform.

“Created from the tracking data recorded with the Hawk-Eye system,” a statement published by Serie A reads. “The rating system, patented in 2010 with K-Sport and scientifically validated, considers not only statistical data and technical events, but also positional data.

“This makes it possible to analyse crucial aspects such as movement without the ball and thus optimal movements, game choices, and the contribution to the technical and physical efficiency of the team, which allow for an objective and qualitative evaluation of the performance.

“For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 4 to 6 of Serie A 2024/2025.” The statement further read. In a related development, the Mayor of Corbetta, Marco Ballarini, an Inter Milan fan, has taunted Milan forward, Alvaro Morata.

He did it by bidding him farewell in an Instagram story that included an Inter crest following the striker’s decision to change home due to a privacy violation from the former. On the lookout for a new place, the Spanish forward had decided to buy a new home in Corbetta.

This is a small town on the western outskirts of Milan, but his plans were jeopardized when the village’s Mayor Ballarini took to social media on Wednesday to announce Morata was about to move there. The Milan striker’s reply, through an Instagram story published on Thursday, made his discontent very clear.

He accused Ballarini of ‘violating’ his privacy and forcing him to ‘change’ his home ‘immediately’. Ballarini had already acknowledged being a ‘great Inter fan’ in the first post, which is why he reacted sarcastically to the player’s statement by publishing an Instagram story simply containing the word ‘goodbye’ with an Inter crest in the background.
