As we enter the month of October, where we will soon see the 7th round of matches in the Italian Serie A, the league governing body has named the six candidates for the September Player of the Month Award.

Despite starting with an international break, the month was full of action with three Serie A rounds that included some high-profile fixtures, such as the Derby della Madonnina in Milan and Juventus‘ home clash against Antonio Conte’s Napoli.

Ballarini had already acknowledged being a ‘great Inter fan’ in the first post, which is why he reacted sarcastically to the player’s statement by publishing an Instagram story simply containing the word ‘goodbye’ with an Inter crest in the background.
