More Details
There is a report of a fallout between Karim Benzema and Nuno Espírito Santo at Al Ittihad FC.
Benzema joined the Jeddah based club in a big money move this summer but hasn’t settled well at the club.
The problem is attributed to the coach of the side Nuno Espírito Santo who does not see the Frenchman as a right fit for his system.
It was the decision of the club and never that of the league winning coach to bring the former Ballon d’Or winner to the club.
Benzema has only scored three times for the club with none of those coming in the league.
Asharq Al-Awsat, a Saudi Arabia newspaper writes that the situation between the two is tense and despite the talk of an exit far from being an option, it could become the only solution.
The Real Madrid legend wanted the armband but was denied by the Portuguese coach according to the report.
The 35 year old has called the Saudi negotiator who brokered the deal to find a solution to the issue.
Meanwhile…
Everton winger Demarai Gray could end up staying at the club despite agreement being in place elsewhere.
The Jamaican international is the subject of transfer interest from Saudi clubAl Shabbab and an agreement was reported by Fabrizio Romano to have been found.

The Italian transfer expert has now given an update on the transfer happening around the player.
He wrote that the decision now rests on the 27 year old who has yet to decide on where he’d be playing this season despite the club open to letting him go.
He scored four times in thirty four appearances last term to help the club escape the drop.
