South Sudan’s Dominic Lobalu (12:59.04) was a very close second as third place goes to American Grant Fisher (13:00.56).

Another Kenyan, World 5000m silver medallist and Commonwealth champion Beatrice Chebet saw off a world class field to claim the Diamond League title in Zurich with 14:31.03.
She kicked past the rest of the field to take the win in a time of 14:31.03, ahead of Margaret Kipkemboi of Kenya who ran 14:31.52 while Gudaf Tsegay of Ethiopia finished third in 14:32.11. Sifan Hassan fifth with 14:37.05.

Australia’s Nina Kennedy was the Diamond League Champion in the women’s pole vault on Wednesday.
She won with a Season’s Best (SB) clearance of 4.81m ahead of Sandi Morris of America who managed 4.76m. Tina Sutej Slovenia was third with 4.61m.

Chase Ealey of the USA is the Diamond League women’s Shot Put Champion after she threw 20.19m to take the title in Zurich ahead of Sarah Mitton of Canada who came second with 19.56m while Auriol Dongmo of Portugal was third with 19.46m.
Joe Kovacs of America also reigned supreme in Zurich with win in the men’s shot put.
He won the men’s with a massive 23.23m, moving up to second on the all-time list. He finished ahead of Ryan Crouser of compatriot who threw 22.74m while Tom Walsh of Australia was third with 21.90m.
Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy cleared a Season’s Best (SB) of 2.34m to take the victory in high jump.
He beat a very strong JuVaughn Harrison of America who cleared the same height, an SB for second. Django Lovett of Canada was third with 2.27m.
