EA Sports dropped FC 25, with the best-selling video game’s latest edition showcasing increased playability and storytelling on the women’s side.
More Details
For the first time in history, EAFC will introduce “unique challenges that exist solely within the women’s game” with women’s options for both Manager and Player Career Modes.
In Manager Career Mode, players can take control of rosters across the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), English Women’s Super League (WSL), Première Ligue, Frauen-Bundesliga, and Liga F plus UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL).
“Since they’ve been implementing women into the game… it’s been really, really fun to see that presence grow,” Gotham star Midge Purce told Just Women’s Sports (JWS) at Thursday’s FC 25 launch party in New York City (NYC).

Meanwhile, Juventus knocked perennial UWCL contenders Paris Saint-Germain out of the qualifiers on Thursday, ending PSG’s 10-year group stage appearance streak.

Arsenal, however, bounced back from last week’s loss, splitting the series with Häcken to qualify for the group stage after last season’s early exit.
Roma, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Twente, St. Pölten, and first-timers Celtic also qualified, joining last year’s league champions in today’s group stage draw.
