Eintracht Frankfurt Confirm Juventus Target KOSTIC Is On His Way Out Of The Club

Written By Oluwayemi Omolagba
As confirmed by Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt, Filip Kostic ‘is leaving the club’ after a deal was struck with Juventus, so he won’t play Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup.
More Details
The winger is widely expected to join Juve over the next few days for €16-17m including add-ons.
He was not named in the squad travelling to Finland for tomorrow night’s UEFA Super Cup and the reason was confirmed in a press conference by coach Oliver Glasner.
“Kostic is not part of the squad for tomorrow’s game, because he is leaving the club.”
Eintracht Frankfurt won the Europa League last season, while Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid lifted the Champions League trophy.

Kostic had also been in talks with West Ham United, who had actually offered a larger transfer fee, but the 29-year-old preferred the Bianconeri.
He contributed seven goals and 15 assists in 43 competitive appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and plays on the left side of a trident attack or as a wing-back.
A Serbia international with 48 senior caps, his previous clubs include FC Groningen, VfB Stuttgart and Hamburger SV.

Torino have agreed a loan with option to buy deal for West Ham United creative midfielder Nikola Vlasic, claim multiple sources.

According to Sky Sports UK and Sky Sport Italia, the deal has been done and he will fly in today, signing the medical tomorrow.
The agreement is a loan with option to buy for circa €15m plus add-ons, with the player maintaining his €2.5m salary.
The 24-year-old had only joined West Ham last summer from CSKA Moscow for €30m, so his price-tag has essentially halved in one year.
Vlasic scored only one goal in 31 competitive games for the Hammers last season, as well as two assists.
