England Slammed With UEFA Charge

The European football governing body on Thursday released an official statement saying it has charged the English FA for its fans behaviour against Denmark at the Wembley.

Proceedings were opened on Wednesday after the game and on Thursday morning they were officially charged for “use of laser pointer”, “disturbance caused during the national anthem” and “lighting of fireworks” by their fans.

A laser pen was shone directly to the face of Denmark goalkeeper Schmeichel leading up to Kane’s penalty being taken. The English fans could be heard jeering the Danish anthem while fireworks were on display in d semi final game.

The FA is yet to respond to the charges from UEFA.
