England Star Dents City’s Hopes, Pledges Allegiance To Boyhood Club

Written by Jacobs Dunga

Aston Villa captain, Jack Grealish has all but assured Clarets fans that he’ll be staying at the cub at least for another season. The exciting attacker has been on the radar of Manchester City since the close of last season and a bid of £100 million was believed to have been submitted sometime last week although Aston Villa have denied receiving any formal bid from anywhere.

The 25-year-old is part of the club’s 2021/2022 kit unveiling and he assured the fans of his desire to remain at the club. “Everyone knows what Claret and blue means to me,” commented the England midfielder.

‘I’ve been a Villa boy all my life, and I love playing for this club.’

Grealish was heavily involved in unveiling Villa’s kit for the new season. He has been at Villa park since the age of six and had a short spell on loan at Notts County in the 2013/2014 season before returning to stamp his presence on the team and since then it has been smooth progress for the club skipper.
