Although representatives of Al-Hilal are expected to make a new attempt today, the Nigerian striker is unlikely to change his mind. Furthermore, the report has confirmed that Osimhen is aware of Manchester United’s interest, and the Red Devils are now working on a first offer, though they don’t want a long drawn out transfer talks.
The EPL club seem reluctant to match the striker’s €75m clause, meaning that they’ll consider a player-plus-cash swap deal and Zirkzee is one of the players who could be included in the offer from Old Trafford and Hojlund. A former Bologna striker, Zirkzee scored seven goals in 49 appearances across all competitions in 2024-25 season.
Also, Hojlund, a former Atalanta striker who had an underwhelming season too. According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have also held preliminary talks with representatives of Viktor Gyokeres, who is also a target of Juventus, but they will only move for the Swedish forward if they’re unable to get Osimhen.
As for Gyokeres, he’s a player that Juventus want, but first they will need to offload Dusan Vlahovic before they can make any move for the sporting CP striker who has been impressive in the just concluded season with his goals, winning the Portuguese league ahead of the likes of Benfica and Porto.
In a related development, Bayern Munich remain interested in Rafael Leao, and according to Gazzetta, Milan are open to listening to offers of at least €100m. The Portuguese star has a €175m clause, but the Rossoneri are aware that no club will match this fee in the 2025 summer transfer window.
Previous reports claimed that Leao had already informed Milan he wanted to leave and the Bavarians are among the clubs interested in the winger, who turns 26 today. According to other sources, the German Bundesliga Champions are preparing an offer to sign Leao in a player-plus-cash swap deal.
