Eriksen Set For Inter’s Return Next Week

Denmark midfielder Christian Ericksen is expected to return to Inter Milan late next week for a series of medicals after his Euro 2020 debacle.
Has been reported by Tuttosport via Sempreinter, the Danish midfielder will join his teammates at Appiano Gentile to undergo new tests so that Inter Milan can get the clearest possible picture of the player’s health before his future is decided upon.
The 29-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch during Denmark’s opening UEFA Euro 2020 clash against Finland on June 12.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star had a defibrillator implanted, but his career in Serie A will be over if the device is permanent.
Any contact sport is forbidden in Italy with such a device implanted, while it is possible to continue playing in other leagues.
