More Details
England will take on Sweden on Tuesday, and France will clash with Germany on Wednesday.
Every quarterfinal game felt like an epic, with a number of matches needing extra time to find a winner, though never going all the way to penalty kicks.
England outlasted Spain in extra time, Sweden barely avoided extra time against Belgium, and France needed a penalty in extra time to down the Netherlands.
Germany walked away with the only comfortable victory in regulation, a 2-0 win over Austria with goals from Lina Magull and Alexandria Popp.

Sweden and France had poor attacking nights to blame for their inability to close out games despite dominating in all other parts of the pitch.
Sweden registered a whopping 33 shots on Austria, but only put nine of them on target, finally getting a breakthrough with Linda Sembrant’s goal in second-half stoppage time to advance 1-0.
France also totaled 33 shots in their quarterfinal, albeit in 120 minutes, with 13 on target.
After not scoring in the run of play, they advanced thanks to Eve Perisset’s penalty kick goal.
