MLS Cup champions Inter Miami have officially added defender Facundo Mura to their roster. Joining as a free agent, the right-back has signed a long-term deal that runs through June 2029.

More Details

Mura is set to join the team for the 2026 campaign, though his debut is subject to the standard processing of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.

The 26-year-old Mura joins the squad following a lengthy tenure with Argentina’s Racing Club. His professional background also includes stints with Club Atlético Colón and Estudiantes de La Plata, where he maintained a consistent presence on the pitch, tallying 13 goals and 20 assists over 200 career matches.

On the international stage, Mura has a proven track record with Argentina’s youth divisions. He was a key member of the side that captured the 2020 CONMEBOL South American U20 Championship title and represented his country at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.

He marks the second defensive addition for Inter Miami this offseason, following the arrival of left-back Sergio Reguilón on a deal running through late 2027.

The squad is expected to undergo further changes during the current transfer window as they prepare for their February 21 season opener against LAFC.

These moves come on the heels of the club’s recent MLS Cup victory on December 6, alongside the news that veteran striker Luis Suárez has re-signed with the team for the 2026 campaign.
