All of your regular suspects will be present, from Scout Picks to team news, as well as a host of double game week articles.
Aston Villa midfielder, Jacob Ramsey was one the highest point earners from the previous week, which was due to his brace in Aston Villa’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United. Ramsey scored two goals against Leeds United to get 14 points, meaning if you triple captained him, you would have gotten 42 points in total.
Aston Villa midfielder, Philippe Coutinho wasn’t to be left out as he got 16 points from one match, after scoring a goal and providing two assists against Leeds United.
Another player who amassed plenty of points was Leeds United winger, Daniel James, who scored the two goals away to Aston Villa to give his team a solitary point. The Welshman was instrumental for Leeds United, James amassed a total of 12 points.
Tottenham forward, Diogo Jota was also not left out as he also got 16 points. He scored a brace in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Leicester City, The 25-year-old grabbed all three points for Liverpool while Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes got 14 points, keeping a clean sheet and scoring a goal in Arsenal’s narrow 1-0 win over Wolves.
Game week 25 is an appetiser before next weekend’s main event, as eight clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur, all double up. When that time comes, it’s very likely that a few Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips will be activated.
However, with so many matches coming up this weekend, attempting to untangle that game week can wait until next week,. Manchester City, the league leaders, travel to Norwich, Liverpool to Burnley, and Manchester United have two home games in a row against Southampton and Brighton.
Here are some of our picks for Game week 25…
Over the midweek, Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey grabbed the headlines after scoring a brace against Leeds United, but it was Philippe Coutinho who was the real star of the show. The Brazilian is a force to be reckoned with and a menace to any opponent. In GW25, Aston Villa’s next game is a tricky match against Newcastle United.

Despite Manchester United’s shambolic defence, David de Gea has been the shining light at Old Trafford. The 31-year-old has two bites at the cherry at keeping a clean sheet this week. Despite Manchester United’s issues at the moment, De Gea looks a safer pick than all other goalies. Even if the Spaniard concedes, De Gea has been racking up plenty of stops of late which boosts his chances of claiming additional save and bonus points.
Next up, we have Joao Cancelo, who was impressive against Brentford. A six-pointer during Manchester City’s 2-0 stroll in the park against Brentford, but it could have easily been 15 plus. Remarkably, Cancelo had two more shots (six) than any other player in Game week 24, with four coming inside the Brentford penalty area. Although Norwich are on a good run and defeated City in the last meeting at Carrow Road, Cancelo and co should have too much for them.
One should keep an eye out for Brighton’s striker Neal Maupay, this week, also merits inclusion even if the Seagulls’ have a trickier assignment. They travel to Watford, who have conceded just once since Roy Hodgson took over, before heading to Old Trafford. the Frenchman ranks fifth among all forwards for FPL points this season. Brighton also have a couple of “easy” fixtures to come.
