LKlara Bühl (9th, 39th), Jovana Damnjanovic (25th, 37th), Lina Magull (42nd), Saki Kumagai (55th), Viviane Asseyi (83rd), and Maximiliane Rall (88th) scored for the favorites superior in all respects. There was also an own goal by Any Adam (77th).

Also, an own goal by Hanna Glas (40th) led to the consolation goal in Jena.

Bayern, who were last in a DFB Cup final in 2018 and lost to VfL Wolfsburg on penalties there, left no doubt from the first minute on who would emerge victorious. The Munich women created chances every minute against the shockingly weak Thuringia, where some important players could not play due to corona infections.

It was only thanks to Jena’s goalkeeper Inga Schuldt that the half-time lead for the guests was only 5-1.
