This is due to the acquisition of compatriot Galeno who arrived from Porto in a €50m deal over the weekend.
Given the limited number of foreign slots allowed in the league, Matthias Jaissle has taken the decision to ace his captain in favour of the new signing.
Firmino left Liverpool for Al Ahli in the summer of 2023, however, he has yet to show the level of form seen during his Liverpool days.

Firmino has struggled for consistency at the Jeddah based club. His nine goals and six assists in thirty league games last term was deemed as unimpressive.
He has since scored five goals and provided three assists in seventeen games this season but those numbers are not welcomed enough to retain his place in the squad.
His participation will now be limited to the Asian Champions League where his club will take on Al Sadd on Monday.
