Written by Patrick Echatah

Mark Warburton, the former manager of Rangers, is reportedly one of four candidates shortlisted for the vacant Toronto FC head coach position.

More Details

The 60-year-old is one of several candidates that Toronto, an MLS team, is reportedly considering, according to multiple reports from the Athletic.

After firing Bob Bradley in June, TFC is searching for a new head coach, and it is reported that Canada manager John Herdman is at the top of their list. Warburton, the manager of Nottingham Forest, QPR, and ex-Gers, is reportedly also being taken into consideration.

Warburton guided the Hammers to victory in the Europa Conference League this year. He spent two years at QPR before being fired by Michael Beale last summer. David Moyes, the manager of the Irons, said of him when he left: “He’s played a key role for us over the previous 12 months.

“However, we decided to split ways because of his desire to go for a more senior position elsewhere. I wish Mark the best of luck in the future on behalf of the team as a whole and the personnel.

The New England Revolution should enter the market once again before a vital run of games now that Chelsea Football Club has a new goalkeeper.

According to reports on Monday, an agreement was reached between Chelsea and New England to move Djordje Petrovic. After a great season and a half in North America, one of Major League Soccer’s top goalkeepers will depart for England on Wednesday.

He’ll have a real chance to become the Blues’ starting goalkeeper. Petrovic’s path to the Premier League was built in the FK Cukariki academy, where he first enrolled in 2014 and later graduated to make his Serbian professional debut.
