The Egyptian forward has now scored fourteen Premier League goals this season with a further nine assists.
The 29 year old has been directly involved in a goal for fifteen games in a row, equalling Jamie Vardy’s six year old record.
Gary Linekar was full of praise for the Egyptian after seeing another impressive performance from the Liverpool frontman.
Linekar wrote on Twitter: “Love watching @MoSalah play. Wonderfully imaginative footballer who plays with a smile on his face….then again, so would I if I was that good.”
Salah despite his consistency was inexplicably left out of IFFHS list of 23 best players in the world released earlier in the month.
Linekar also had a message of warning to Jurgen Klopp side’s rivals saying no team should try scoring before the Reds at Anfield.
“I’m not sure it’s a good idea to score an early goal against @LFC at Anfield.”

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has hailed Trent Alexander Arnold as one of the best in world football.
The 23 year old scored a stunner in the 87th minute to double Liverpool’s advantage and secure the game.

Despite controversies that marred the game, Eddie Howe didn’t hide his admiration of the English international right back as he praised him for his effort on the night.
“There’s not a lot you can do about that. Liverpool were going to have potential for long shots, you have got one of the best strikers of the ball in world football, and he set it brilliantly. There’s nothing we could do at that moment.” He told BT Sport 1.
