Gennaro Gattuso Set To Raid His Old Club For Players As Valladolid Plan Ambitious Transfer Of Dani Alves And Marcelo

There’s the need to keep the books in order, hence the club have penned the name of Carlos Soler as the player that would be sacrificed.

The club appointed Gennaro Gattuso as their coach recently and he is set to look in the direction if his former team, AC Milan in search of players to sign for his new club. Gattuso has enquired over the availability of both Castillejo and Bakayoko.

Bakayoko is on loan from Chelsea, hence the Los Che would have to deal with the English club for the French international, while a €5.5 million fee has been quoted for Castillejo.

The duo are almost certain to leave the Rossoneri this summer. Gattuso was the coach of Milan between 2017 to 2019 before moving to Napoli.

All of their transfer activities is hugely dependent on how much they can get from the sales of Soler, who is a transfer target of Atletico Madrid as they would push for the €50 million mark.

Newly promoted La Liga side Valladolid are looking to improve their squad for the coming season and they could move for two Brazilian defenders, Dani Alves and Marcelo, who just left their respective clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Alves, left the Camp Nou for the second time as the club failed to renew his short term contract signed January, while Marcelo already said his goodbye to the Los Blancos after spending the better part of his career with the Spanish side.

The two players aged, 39-years and 34-years will be tempted by a Brazilian legend, Ronaldo Nazarin, who is the president of Valladolid and the possibility of playing in Europe could be the biggest motivator as they both still habor the hopes of going to the World Cup with Brazil later this year.
