More Details
The 35-year-old started the game alongside Eric Garcia in the heart of the defense but asked to be substituted midway through the opening 45 minutes.
Pique wandered off looking quite disconsolate and was replaced by Clement Lenglet.
The Catalans will be hoping that the issue isn’t too serious, since the defender has been in excellent form this season.
Lenglet’s arrival was the Frenchman’s fourth appearance in the year 2022. With Ronald Araujo continuing at right-back, Lenglet was paired with Garcia.
If Pique is not fit enough for the league game against Levante on Sunday, Araujo should return to center defense and may partner Eric.
Dani Alves will return to the starting lineup and might take over at right-back. Because he is not registered for the Europa League, the Brazilian was not in the team on Thursday.

Ferran Torres offered his thoughts on Barcelona’s 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie and admitted the draw was not a bad result for the visitors.
Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead shortly after half-time when Ansgar Knauff fired a brilliant effort past goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
However, Barca managed to come back and scored a superb goal of their own with Ferran Torres finishing off a glorious move involving Frenkie de Jong and Ousmane Dembele.
“To go behind but end up drawing might end up a very valuable result for the second leg. Frankfurt were a tough rival – they made things difficult,” he said.
