The English manager has called on the management of Al Ettifaq to consider fixing preseason friendlies against clubs from the Premier League, report Sports.

The aim is to achieve premium technical benefit ahead of the coming season, the report stated.

Gerrard sees teams from the English Premier League as technically ahead of his side and wants the Dammam based club to benefit from their English counterparts.


Al Riyadh want to renew the contract of head coach Odair Hellmann.

The Brazilian manager was appointed last October to see out the season and he was successful in keeping them in the top flight.

To reward his work, the club is willing to extend his contract beyond this summer and want him to lead the team out next season, report Sport.
