Al Ettifaq, under Steven Gerrard have drawn ten games this season in the SPL, as many as they have won.

They’re already edging towards setting a new club record for draws in a single SPL season since the league started in the 1970s.

Never have the club recorded eleven stalemates in a single season but it seems Steven Gerrard could be rewriting history for the wrong seasons.

His side have been a complete shadow of what the club projected on his arrival. With eight losses to add to ten draws and ten wins, the Royals sit 7th on the log with a massive eleven points from fourth.

On the positive side, Steven Gerrard has been given a boost on the injury front with the return of an important player.

Abdullah Madu will return to the starting line up against Al Raed on Saturday evening after recovering from injury, report Ettifaq Network.
