Globe Soccer Awards Unveil 25-Player Nominee List For 2025 Best Women’s Player

This year’s list highlights exceptional performers from Europe, North America, and South America, with FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC leading the nominations.
Barcelona alone boasts seven players on the list, reflecting another year of dominance in women’s football.
Among the nominees are England and Arsenal defender Leah Williamson, Real Madrid star Caroline Weir, Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas, newly crowned award-winner Hannah Hampton of Chelsea, and Orlando Pride striker Barbra Banda, who continues to shine in the NWSL.

In addition to the individual nominees, seven clubs have been shortlisted for the 2025 Best Women’s Club Award: Orlando Pride, OL Lyon, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, and Arsenal FC.
The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards ceremony will take place at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai, on December 8, where winners across all categories will be unveiled.
