Gotham Back In The Spotlight Ahead Of FIFA Women’s Champions Cup Semifinal
Gotham FC return to the global stage on Wednesday as the reigning NWSL and Concacaf W Champions Cup holders face Brazil’s SC Corinthians in the semifinals of London’s inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

“The hunger they have to win is unbelievable. It’s in their nature,” Gotham head coach Juan Carlos Amorós said of his squad’s relentless drive for silverware.
“They win one competition and they’re already thinking about the next one.”
Defender Mandy Freeman echoed that sentiment, underlining the club’s winning culture.
“This is where we want to be: competing in the semifinals, competing in the finals, competing to raise another trophy. That’s the standard here at Gotham,” she said.

The American side will be boosted by the arrival of rookie signing Jordynn Dudley, who joins the club fresh from a title-winning campaign with Florida State.
While Gotham square off against the 2025 Brasileirão Série A1 champions, UEFA Women’s Champions League holders Arsenal will meet Moroccan Women’s Championship giants ASFAR in the tournament’s other semifinal.

The final and third-place playoff are scheduled for Sunday, with a historic total prize pool of $3.9 million at stake.
The champions will pocket $2.3 million, runners-up $1 million, while each third-place finisher earns $200,000. An additional $100,000 has already been awarded to teams eliminated in the play-in round.
Gotham kick off against Corinthians at 7:30 a.m. ET (13:30 GMT) on Wednesday, followed by Arsenal vs ASFAR at 1 p.m. ET. Both matches will be broadcast live on DAZN.
