This result also extended Palace’s poor run of winless away games against Everton in the Premier League to 11.
The match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium was lively from the start. Palace, in good form, struck first in the 37th minute when Daniel Muñoz finished a run to put the visitors up 1-0.
After the break, Palace looked to double their lead, with Jean-Philippe Mateta missing a clear chance. Their missed opportunity proved costly when Everton was awarded a penalty for a foul on Tim Iroegbunam.

Iliman Ndiaye converted the spot-kick to level the score with about 15 minutes left.
Just as the game seemed headed for a draw, Grealish forced the ball over the line in stoppage time after Muñoz’s attempted clearance was blocked following a save on Beto’s shot.
The victory lifts David Moyes’s Everton side up to seventh in the table, now just one point behind the fifth-placed Eagles, who suffered their first defeat since mid-April.
