Grealish Wants To Repay The Fans

Written by Jacobs Dunga

England attacker, Jack Grealish is in a confident mood ahead of their quarter final game against Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukraine on Saturday.

The player who has been involved in two of England’s four goals at the tournament said he’s so “ happy and proud when he hears the crowd singing his name.”

“I had loads of messages and it makes me so happy and proud when I hear the crowd singing my name,” Grealish went on. “I want to repay that.” He said after his strong performance against Germany.

He also described England’s wealth of attacking talents as “scaring” and is excited about playing in Rome for the first time in his career.

“We [England] have six players who play either side of Harry Kane who, in reality, could play for most clubs in the world,” Grealish told the Daily Mail.

“Myself, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka. That’s scary how good us six are.”

“I love these different challenges,” Grealish said, “playing in different countries. I’ve never even been to Rome.” he enthused.

The Aston Villa man will be expected to convert words into goals when the Three Lions file out against Ukraine later today with Grealish expected to start from the bench yet again.
