Spanish LaLiga side, Barcelona aren’t having the best of form lately and it seems to be spreading to the whole squad as several players have been linked with a move away from the club, even the one that just arrived recently.

Franck Kessie joined Barcelona from Italian side, AC Milan as a free agent, but has found it hard to nail down a regular place at the Camp Nou, mostly playing from the bench, a far cry to his regular status at Milan.

This has led to speculations he’s considering his future at Barcelona, especially after their ouster from the UEFA champions league group stage, but his agent has come out to deny such reports, claiming that his client is very much at Barcelona.
Kessie’s agent, George Atangana has assured that the player has no such intentions. On the contrary, he is enjoying his new life in Barcelona and will continue to work hard in order to earn a place in the first team. “They are fake news, totally false,” Atangana said.
“Kessie is very happy at Barça and at Barcelona. He’s only been at the club for a few months and he’s still in the process of adapting to the team and the Barça style of play, which has nothing to do with the rest of the clubs, and, therefore, it takes time.”
“Kessie will continue working to earn a place on the team. He is not a player who gives up easily. He had other offers in the summer and bet heavily on Barça,” he added.
The 25-year-old has only appeared in 7 of his Barca’s 12 league games. Out of those seven outings, he has managed to get a place in the starting lineup for just two games.
Similarly, he has only started two UEFA Champions League games for the team this season; one against Viktoria Plzen in a 5-1 win and one against Bayern Munich in a 0-3 loss. It should be noted that his former team are on the verge of qualifying for the knockout stages of the UCL as they only need a point from their last game to qualify.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are actively keeping tabs on the contract situation of French midfielder, Ngolo Kante at Chelsea, with a view of making a move if the player becomes available for a free transfer.
Kante will become a free agent at the end of this season, but Chelsea reportedly want the player to take a wage cut if he wants to sign a new multi year contract while the player doesn’t agree with such idea, hence no progress in talks for now.

By January, the player, who will miss the World Cup through injury with France will be free to reach a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside England and Barcelona will be ready to pounce.
The Blaugrana are ready to revamp their squad with several players ready for the exit door including Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto, making room for other players.
