Every winning team has a player who can turn the tide, and for Orlando City, that player is Martín Ojeda. The Argentine midfielder proved his worth on Saturday against the New England Revolution, scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory.

His second goal, a beautifully struck shot in the 58th minute, sealed the win and earned him the “Energy Moment of the Matchday” award for Matchday 26.

Ojeda’s two goals extended his club-record streak to nine games in a row with a goal or assist. The 26-year-old has been on fire, with 15 goal contributions (8 goals, 7 assists) in his last 13 matches.
His 22 total goal contributions this season (12 goals, 10 assists) tie him for fourth in the league and match Nani’s 2019 record for Orlando’s most productive regular season.
“I think he’s carrying us in that matter; how important it is to have a player who is scoring goals and giving us those contributions in the moments that we need him the most,” head coach Oscar Pareja told reporters of his No. 10 after the final whistle.
“Not in any game, but in this one game when we were all tense and we needed to produce tonight, he took that team on his shoulders.”

Saturday’s win ended Orlando’s four-game streak without a victory. They are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference and competing for a top-four spot in the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs.
“I’m very happy, not only for the goals, but also for the win tonight,” said Ojeda. “Because I feel like we deserved a win like this tonight. We’ve been playing well but suffering in the last three matches.”
Having recently found success and built some momentum, Martín Ojeda and Orlando City will aim to continue their strong run when they visit the Columbus Crew on Friday.
