Amad Diallo is nearing the end of his contract, and Ruben Amorim believes Manchester United will find a “solution” with him.
More Details
To stop foreign teams from negotiating a pre-contract with Amad’s representatives, United are expected to exercise their option to extend the 22-year-old’s current contract by one year before the January transfer market starts.

The winger has made a name for himself in Amorim’s squad on the right side of a 3-4-3 formation and has started 11 of United’s 21 games this season.
Amad stated during preseason that he would be content to remain at United for the rest of his career. Amad joined United from Atalanta for a sum that increased to £37 million on transfer deadline day in October 2020.
“I think he wants to stay and we want him to stay, so that is clear and we will find a solution,” Amorim said.
In his early years, Amad mostly played as a right winger. Under Amorim, he has assumed more defensive duties as a wing back. Amad was also deployed as a false nine under former Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag.

“I think it’s one of the great advantages of Amad, for me,” Amorim said of his versatility.
“He’s very good playing in that position but also playing between the lines because he has a good control and he seems faster with the ball than without the ball.
“So it’s something that he has and he is capable of playing in both positions. And he can play in different systems. So in the future, we will play in the different system, maybe. So it’s the that kind of player that we need in the team.”
