‘I’m A Little Bit Worried’ – Scholes Highlights Chelsea’s Problems Ahead Of Brighton Showdown

Chelsea defeated West Ham 3-0 to make it back-to-back Premier League triumphs after defeating AFC Bournemouth 1-0. Then, in the Carabao Cup, Enzo Maresca’s team destroyed Barrow AFC 5-0 to secure their place in the fourth round.
However, Scholes has identified two areas where Chelsea should be “worried,” indicating that they should examine their goalkeeper and centre-
‘We were saying Maresca is going to be the first one gone,’ Scholes told The Overlap.
‘These results have almost calmed things down. You look at the squad there is a lot of talent. I’m a little bit worried about the centre-forward to be honest. I’m worried about the keeper a little bit.’

This season, Robert Sanchez has been deployed as the London-based club starting goalie. Before being rested against Barrow, he assisted the Blues to two consecutive top-flight clean sheets.
With Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku both playing well, Chelsea is faced with a bit of a dilemma at centre forward.
After Nkunku’s hat-trick against Barrow, Maresca believes it’s a “nice problem” to have two strikers in form, but he doesn’t think he can play Jackson and Nkunku at the same time.
