On tthe other hand, the management is still continuing on the mandate given to them by their owners, Oaktree Capital, which is to sign a young players and develop them to be able to sell them for huge profit in the future and that has led them towards two emerging talents.

Consequently, the Nerazzurri are reportedly weighing up a move for Santos’ rising star, Robinho Jr and this is according to a report from Brazilian outlet UOL who went further to reveal that the Italian club could offer up to €22 million for the prodigious forward.

The same report claims that Robinho already visited Inter’s training facilities during his brief visit to Italy for Christmas but a winter transfer doesn’t look likely, considering the teenager has no intention of leaving Brazil until June, staying with the club for the next six months.

He is the son of the legendary Real Madrid and AC Milan forward, Robinho as he graduated from Santos’ youth academy. Furthermore, he made his senior debut for the club in 2025, with Neymar quickly taking him under his wing after he returned to the club last year.

Formerly mentored by Robinho himself, Neymar has taken it upon himself to guide the 18-year-old early in his career but they might soon go their separate ways as Inter looks to table a €22m offer and their nterest in Robinho Jr is a bit surprising, considering their long-term pursuit of Hellas Verona’s Giovane.

Another young talent that has been linked with the Beneamata is Hajduk Split prodigy Branimir Mlacic. The 18-year-old defender is among Europe’s most coveted young center-backs and he has drawn inquiries from numerous top clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Inter and Olympique Marseille have been among the first teams to take note of Mlacic’s progress and the Serie A giants are ready to take it a step further with a €5.5m offer but it’s not clear if the plan is to sign him now or later in the summer.

Should the signing be made this winter, Inter would leave him on loan with his current club until June before bringing him in but one thing is certain, he will first join up with the club’s u-23 side to aid his growth and map his path towards the first team for the future.

In a related development, AC Milan and Juventus have reportedly joined Inter in the race to sign highly rated Genoa wingback Brooke Norton-Cuffy with the current league leaders pencilling down the Englishman among the list of players that would probably replace Denzel Dumfries in the summer.

According to a report from Repubblica, all three clubs have set their sights on Arsenal’s academy graduate as the 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength this season, emerging as one of Serie A’s best wing-backs, especially under Daniele De Rossi.

He has made 17 league starts, scoring once and adding one assist, becoming essential to the coach who replacer Patrick Vieira and Inter have been hot on Norton-Cuffy’s trail for months as they aim to strengthen their right wing-back position if Dumfries eventually leaves.

However, they’ve yet to open talks with Genoa, which could now come back to haunt them as Juventus have reportedly identified the talented youngster as a potential upgrade on their current wingback options and both clubs could present their bids in the coming weeks.

For Inter, tey would have preferred a summer move but with the risk of missing out entirely, a move this January can’t be ruled out while Genoa have named their price with the Griffins expecting at least €20m in transfer fee and that figure could rise if a bidding war breaks out or an EPL club becomes interested.
